Local residents got some help before the open enrollment period for health insurance begins in November.
Nevada Health Link held its “Ghouls, Ghosts and Getting Insured” health information session at the Alexander Library in North Las Vegas on Wednesday.
Councilwoman Ruth Garcia-Anderson and representatives from the organisation led an informational presentation to answer questions about possible health and dental plans.
Residents had the opportunity to learn about the availability of financial assistance and health insurance options through Nevada Health Link.
The community event also got into the Halloween spirit, with children enjoying Halloween-themed activities and games.
The open enrollment period begins on 1 November.
