Leading insurer AXA XL’s Property & Casualty and Specialty Risk divisions have announced the appointment of Vito Raimondi as the new Head of the Central America region. Raimondi will be stationed in Chicago and will report to Matt O’Malley, the US Country Manager for AXA XL.
In his new role, Raimondi will assume the critical responsibility of overseeing the overall performance of AXA XL’s insurance operations within the Central America region.

Vito Raimondi joined AXA XL in 2013 as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Excess Casualty business. His contributions have been pivotal in driving strategic and operational plans to foster underwriting growth and deliver exceptional service to brokers and insured clients. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of AXA XL Account and Distribution Management, Raimondi is focused on facilitating easy access to the suite of products and services for brokers and insured clients.
Raimondi initiated his insurance career with Zurich Insurance Group Ltd before joining AXA XL, and his profound understanding of insurance products and distribution networks is poised to create closer connections with brokers and insured clients.
