Clegg Gifford, a Lloyd’s of London broker with over 40 years of industry experience, has launched a cutting-edge digital platform designed to streamline the motor trade insurance process for brokers.
Developed in partnership with digital agency MagiClick, the self-service portal allows brokers to generate quotes and bind motor trade policies with ease, significantly reducing administrative tasks and improving operational efficiency. The platform also features a self-service Motor Insurance Database (MID), which enables policyholders to manage vehicle and trade plate updates independently.
The new platform aims to enhance not only broker productivity but also the overall operational efficiency of Clegg Gifford’s network of broker partners. By offering an end-to-end digital experience, the initiative seeks to automate tasks and minimize back-office workloads.
Toby Clegg, CEO of Clegg Gifford, emphasized the company’s commitment to digital innovation. “This platform is a testament to our ongoing investment in digital solutions and broker experience,” Clegg said. “We have worked closely with MagiClick to create a modern platform that addresses the practical needs of both brokers and customers, making motor trade policy management faster, simpler, and more user-friendly.”
Mark Lusted, CEO of MagiClick UK, praised the collaboration. “This project marks a significant step in MagiClick’s efforts to drive digital transformation in the insurance sector,” Lusted said. “It demonstrates the power of combining client vision with digital expertise to deliver a self-service motor trade product at scale and speed.”
