Prudential Hong Kong Limited has introduced PruNextGen, a new service platform designed to provide education, skills development, and wellness support for children. This initiative was launched alongside the company’s Prudential Entrust Multi-Currency Plan, aimed at offering flexible legacy planning and guidance to families as their children progress through key life stages.
PruNextGen is backed by seven prestigious partners, including HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE), Crimson Education, Britannia, ARCH Education, Shining Child & Family Development and Assessment Centre, EC Healthcare, and Quality HealthCare Medical Services. Together, they contribute to the platform’s comprehensive range of services.
A recent survey conducted by Prudential, the “Financial Wellbeing Tracker,” revealed that 90% of Hong Kong parents with children under 15 believe that unconventional education methods offer the best future prospects for their children. However, only 33% of parents have actively pursued such educational alternatives, while 18% have no plans to do so.
At the heart of PruNextGen is the “Future Institute,” which includes two key programmes designed to prepare children for a rapidly evolving world. The first programme, “NextGen Visionary Ventures,” developed in collaboration with HKU SPACE, is a five-day workshop hosted at the University of Hong Kong. It covers essential skills such as financial literacy, wealth psychology, creative thinking, and digital communication.
The second programme, Crimson Education’s “Future Intelligence Programme,” offers free online courses led by international scholars. Topics range from global presentation skills to entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and writing. Crimson Education also provides exclusive education consulting services to Prudential customers, further enhancing the platform’s value.
