Prudential Singapore has entered into a strategic partnership with Thomson Medical Centre (TMC) to expand healthcare options for its Integrated Shield Plan (IP) customers. Effective from April 1, Prudential’s IP policyholders will gain access to an additional 100 specialist doctors from TMC.
This collaboration significantly boosts Prudential’s hospital-led partnership programme, PRUPanel Connect (PPC), growing the insurer’s network to over 1,700 specialists across more than 30 medical fields, including obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, oncology, and ophthalmology.
Customers enrolled in IP riders such as PRUExtra Premier CoPay, PRUExtra Preferred CoPay, and PRUExtra Premier will benefit from enhanced services, including an improved electronic Letter of Guarantee (eLOG) of up to S$30,000 and expedited specialist appointments within three working days, subject to availability.
This partnership builds on Prudential’s ongoing collaboration with Thomson Medical Group, following the 2024 addition of Thomson Specialists Pte Ltd (Woodleigh), a private day surgery centre, to the PPC programme. The agreement further solidifies the ties between the two healthcare providers, offering Prudential customers broader access to medical expertise and efficient healthcare services.
