Two prominent insurance companies, Takaful Malaysia and Etiqa, have pledged assistance to those affected by the gas pipeline fire in Jalan Putra Harmoni, Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, which occurred earlier today.
Takaful Malaysia took to social media to express its commitment to supporting impacted customers. In a Facebook post, the company reassured residents of Putra Heights, acknowledging the challenges they may face and emphasizing their readiness to help during this difficult time.
“We understand the pressure and the significant challenges that may arise, and we are here to support you. Please stay safe and adhere to all safety protocols,” the post read.
Takaful Malaysia also provided contact details for claim submissions, encouraging those involved in the incident to reach out. Customers were instructed to call 012-9271686 or 017-3283543 for non-motor claims, and 1800-888-788 for motor-related claims.
Meanwhile, Etiqa Insurance announced in a statement that it would simplify the claims process by waiving the requirement for a police report. This move is aimed at expediting the claims for eligible customers, ensuring a quicker and more efficient resolution.
Both companies have expressed their solidarity with the community during this tragic event, offering essential support to residents affected by the fire.
