Lockton has announced the appointment of Cindy Khoo as the new Head of Business Development for Marine & Energy, based in Singapore. Khoo brings with her 13 years of expertise in the marine sector, having previously served as Head of Marine at Howden Malaysia.
During her tenure at Howden, Khoo played a pivotal role in establishing and growing the company’s Marine unit, particularly leading the Marine Hull and Energy (upstream) businesses. Her efforts were instrumental in positioning Howden as one of the top three Marine & Energy brokers in Malaysia.
In her new role at Lockton, Khoo will focus on expanding the company’s Marine and Offshore Energy business both in Singapore and across the broader Asia-Pacific region. She will collaborate closely with Lockton’s Marine offices across the region to drive growth and enhance client relationships.
