CTF Life has launched the “GBA MediAccess” Outpatient Insurance Plan, targeting frequent travelers between Hong Kong, Macau, and key cities in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). The new plan leverages the extensive medical network of The GBA Healthcare Group (GBAH), a subsidiary of Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, to provide convenient access to medical services across the region.
As the first insurer to collaborate with GBAH, CTF Life introduces a groundbreaking feature: coverage for traditional Chinese medicine outpatient consultations. The plan offers three tiers of coverage, which include both Western and Chinese medical consultations, dental scaling, and health management services.
Additionally, the plan allows coverage for up to two additional family members. Among the key services provided are online and offline consultations with general practitioners, up to three days of prescribed basic medications, traditional Chinese medicine consultations, dental care, and management of chronic diseases.
CTF Life formed a partnership with GBAH in early 2024, working closely with 3A hospitals in the GBA to improve medical efficiency and lower healthcare costs.
Notable features of the new insurance plan include family coverage for three members, flexible consultation options (both online and offline), traditional Chinese medicine services, and proactive health management programs led by GBAH doctors.
