Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia has introduced a new investment-linked insurance plan, Allianz AssuredLink, which comes with an upgraded HealthAssured medical rider. This new offering aims to provide comprehensive healthcare coverage with additional benefits for policyholders.
One of the key features of the HealthAssured rider is a 20% discount on the Cost of Insurance (COI) at sign-up, which continues throughout the policy’s review period for customers who remain claim-free. Allianz Life Chief Executive Officer, Charles Ong, emphasized that the plan is designed to offer both extensive coverage and added value to policyholders.
In addition, the plan allows customers the flexibility to choose between 5% or 15% co-insurance based on their financial preferences, providing greater control over their healthcare costs.
To further incentivize sign-ups, Allianz Life is running the Assured Booster Campaign, which will run from March 1 to April 30. During this period, new customers will enjoy several added benefits, including a 50% increase in Hospital Room & Board coverage, an additional RM15 million in overall annual coverage, and an extended post-hospitalisation treatment period of up to 365 days.
With these new features, Allianz Life aims to offer more comprehensive and flexible health coverage, catering to the evolving needs of its customers.
