Lincoln Financial is leveraging its extensive network of financial advisers to introduce two new private-market funds, targeting individual investors. The move marks the company’s entry into a rapidly growing market as Wall Street works to make private investments more accessible.
The new funds, developed in collaboration with Bain Capital and Partners Group, will be marketed through Lincoln Financial’s network of approximately 60,000 financial advisers. These advisers, who typically sell annuities, life insurance, and other products, will now also offer these private-market funds to everyday investors.
This strategic partnership aims to give individual investors the opportunity to access private-market investments, a space traditionally reserved for institutional players and high-net-worth individuals. The move signals the increasing trend of mainstream financial services expanding into the private investment space, offering investors a broader range of options.
