Manulife Unveils Insurance Plans with 400% Payouts

Manulife Singapore has rolled out two new insurance options designed to address the financial impact of serious illnesses, offering comprehensive coverage for critical conditions and cancer.

The Manulife Early CompleteCare (MECC) plan offers extensive protection, covering 126 critical illness conditions at all stages. Upon diagnosis of any critical illness, the plan guarantees a full payout of the sum insured. It also features a Continuous Cancer Income option, which provides monthly payouts of 4% of the sum insured for up to 60 months, potentially delivering up to 240% of the insured amount.

In addition, the MECC plan includes several unique benefits, such as the Cover Me Again benefit, which allows policyholders to make up to four extra critical illness claims, potentially receiving a total payout of up to 400% of the sum insured. The Recurring Major Critical Illness benefit further extends coverage, offering an additional payout of up to 200% for specific recurring conditions.

Moreover, the plan guarantees a death benefit that is at least eight times the annual premium. It covers all stages of cancer, providing a 100% payout upon diagnosis or death.

The second plan, the Manulife EarlyCancer Protect (MECP), is an affordable option designed specifically for cancer coverage, offering protection at all stages of the disease.

Both plans aim to give policyholders enhanced financial security in the event of a critical illness, with innovative features that set them apart in the insurance market.
