Marsh has launched Cyber Echo Encore, an enhancement to its existing Cyber Echo insurance facility, offering clients up to $45 million in additional cyber insurance coverage.
Originally introduced in 2016, Cyber Echo is underwritten by insurers in the London market outside of Lloyd’s. The facility, which remains the largest of its kind, provides up to $125 million in cyber insurance coverage. To date, it has delivered nearly $50 billion in insurance to around 500 clients globally.
The new Cyber Echo Encore extends coverage beyond the Lloyd’s market while maintaining core features such as simplified underwriting, easy placement, and efficient claims handling. Notably, the facility also allows for the reinstatement of coverage within the underwriting year after a loss.
Serena France-Hayhurst, UK Cyber Placement Leader at Marsh, highlighted the growing concern over cyber threats, noting that businesses are increasingly turning to standalone cyber insurance to manage their complex risk profiles.
