MS Amlin Underwriting has posted a 7% year-on-year rise in net income for the first nine months of 2024, reaching £103 million ($129.78 million). The company’s insurance service profits also saw a solid increase, climbing 6% to £130 million ($163.80 million) during the same period.
Notably, the net premium earned surged by 182% year-on-year, totaling £1.2 billion ($1.512 billion). However, net premium written experienced a significant decline of 139% YoY, dropping to £1.1 billion ($1.386 billion).
The exchange rate during this period was £0.79 to $1.00.
