Generali and YAS Launch Flexible Tech-Driven Travel Insurance

Generali Hong Kong has teamed up with YAS to roll out a technology-driven insurance product aimed at providing flexible coverage for frequent travelers.

This new offering builds on the companies’ expertise in on-demand microinsurance, allowing for real-time adjustments to coverage based on individual needs.

The first initiative, which launched in November 2024, is integrated within the AlipayHK ecosystem. The travel insurance product is designed to dynamically adjust coverage up to 20 times based on the traveler’s spending, with a maximum coverage limit of HK$100,000.
