Aon has announced the appointment of Jennifer Richards as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Asia Pacific region, effective March 1.
Richards takes over from Anne Corona, who has transitioned into a new leadership role as CEO of enterprise clients and global chief commercial officer.
In her new role, Richards will collaborate with the Asia Pacific Executive Committee to strengthen Aon’s capabilities, deliver value to clients, and drive financial performance, while executing the company’s 3×3 Plan.
She will report directly to Lori Goltermann, CEO of Regions, and will be relocating from Australia to Singapore in the coming months.
Richards, who joined Aon 13 years ago in Australia, has held a series of senior roles, most recently as head of Aon Australia. Prior to joining Aon, she held prominent positions at AIG in North America, working within the Financial Institutions and M&A sectors. She also has experience practicing corporate and securities law at Sidley Austin LLP in New York City.
