Sompo has appointed Pablo Diago as the new Chief Claims Officer for its Commercial and Consumer Insurance operations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
In his new role, Diago will oversee the Claims function for both business segments, after previously serving as the head of Claims for Commercial Insurance in APAC. His responsibilities will include driving operational excellence, ensuring service governance across various channels, and advancing talent development within the team.
Based in Singapore, Diago will report to Kenneth Reilly, CEO of Insurance for APAC, and will join the APAC executive team.
With more than a decade of experience in the Asian insurance market, Diago holds a law degree from University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain. He transitioned into insurance from a senior associate role at Deloitte
