Hong Kong, 2 January 2025 – Bupa Hong Kong has appointed Raymond Young as the new Director of Distribution and Sales for its Health Insurance division, effective immediately.
In his new role, Young will be responsible for driving the growth of Bupa’s individual and group health insurance businesses across intermediary channels. His key focus will be on strengthening relationships with brokers, implementing innovative sales strategies, and exploring strategic partnerships, particularly within the digital space.
With almost two decades of experience in the insurance industry, Young brings extensive expertise in sales, distribution, and employee benefits. Over the course of his career, he has successfully managed corporate client portfolios, led business development teams, and cultivated strong connections with brokers, intermediaries, and corporate partners.
Young’s background spans multiple facets of the insurance industry, including group medical, life insurance, pension services, bancassurance, and individual business partnerships. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to further enhance Bupa’s competitive positioning in the rapidly evolving health insurance market.
