Chubb Appoints John Latter as Lead Claims Officer

Chubb has made a significant leadership appointment, naming John Latter as the lead claims officer for Chubb Overseas General with immediate effect. Latter will take the reins of Chubb’s claims operations across the Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, and Far East regions, guiding a team of 3,000 claims professionals.

Latter comes to this new role with an extensive and impressive background. In his prior position as senior vice president and claims director for Europe, Eurasia, and Africa, he was at the helm of property, casualty, financial lines, marine, aviation, and energy claims teams. His experience spans over four decades in the insurance sector.

He first joined Chubb in 2017, having transitioned from Zurich Insurance. During his tenure at Zurich, he occupied several senior claims positions both in the UK and on a global scale. His wealth of knowledge and long-standing experience are expected to prove invaluable as he takes on this crucial role in Chubb’s international claims management, potentially enhancing the company’s claims handling efficiency and effectiveness across multiple regions.
