Allianz Partners has appointed Michael Buttstedt as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and board member, effective immediately. Buttstedt takes over from Damien Ladous, who has transitioned to the role of head of group performance steering.
In his new position, Buttstedt will report directly to Tomas Kunzmann, CEO of Allianz Partners. With over 25 years of experience within the Allianz Group, Buttstedt brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Prior to his appointment, he served as CFO of Allianz Italy for four years. His career within the company also includes key roles such as Chief Risk Officer at Allianz Switzerland and Group Risk Officer at Allianz SE.
Buttstedt holds a degree in mathematics from the Technical University of Munich and is an active member of the Association of Actuaries in Germany.
