AIA Singapore and Whitecoat Expand Partnership for Healthcare Affordability

AIA Singapore and Whitecoat Expand Telemedicine Access: AIA Singapore is broadening its partnership with Whitecoat. Starting 4 November, telemedicine services will be available to all AIA policyholders in Singapore. Previously, only those with AIA HealthShield Gold Max and certain critical illness plans had access. This expansion aims to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for more insured people in the country.

Rising Costs Prompt Initiative: Medical costs in Singapore are projected to increase by nearly 10.7% in 2024, fueling concerns over healthcare affordability. In light of this, AIA’s partnership with Whitecoat enables insured members to access on – demand telemedicine services from home. This helps overcome both financial and convenience hurdles to obtaining quality medical care.

AIA’s Broader Focus on Customer Needs: AIA Singapore has recently highlighted its attention to customer requirements. It offered 15,000 Singapore residents six months of free critical illness and life insurance, aiming to address the protection gap in the market.
