Broker Insights, a commercial insurance placement analytics firm, has announced the launch of its services in the United States.
The UK-based company has spent the last 12-18 months preparing for its expansion by ensuring its product resonates with US brokers and building a team. The firm has developed technology that helps brokers and insurance carriers enhance their placement strategies. The platform, called Vision, is available in every state, and its “decision intelligence” has already collected nearly $1bn in gross written premium of broker data.
The company has analyzed 2.5 million commercial insurance policies to date, helping brokers place 24% more business with carrier partners by identifying opportunities to optimize broker-client placement with informed recommendations.
The firm has informed brokers and insurers representing over one third of the UK’s commercial gross premiums. The company has appointed Travis Shank as president of US operations to lead its expansion.
