Beazley, a leading insurer, has announced two major internal promotions, effective immediately, as part of its leadership restructuring.
Paul Bantick has been appointed as the company’s Chief Underwriting Officer, succeeding Bob Quane, who recently retired. In his new role, Bantick will report directly to CEO Adrian Cox. While assuming his new responsibilities, Bantick will continue overseeing Beazley’s Cyber Risks division until a replacement is identified, with the company expecting to promote from within due to its deep expertise in cyber risk management.
In a parallel move, Bethany Greenwood has been named CEO of Beazley Furlonge, the insurer’s managing agency at Lloyd’s, pending regulatory approval. Greenwood will also lead the London Wholesale Management Committee, while maintaining her current position as Group Head of Specialty Risks.
Both appointments reinforce Beazley’s strategy of promoting from within to leverage its talent and maintain its competitive edge in the insurance sector.
