Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has announced the appointment of Srinivas Rao Ravuri as its new Chief Investment Officer (CIO). Prior to this role, Ravuri served at PGIM India Mutual Fund.
In his new position, Ravuri will lead the investment team at Bajaj Allianz Life, overseeing portfolio management to enhance investment performance. He aims to allocate company assets strategically, focusing on wealth creation for customers while ensuring profitability for stakeholders and adhering to regulatory guidelines, as stated in a company press release.
Ravuri brings nearly 30 years of experience in equity research and fund management within the Indian financial markets. He began his career as an analyst at India’s first boutique equity research firm, covering various sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, telecom, and power. Before joining PGIM India Mutual Fund, he was with HDFC Asset Management, where he played a crucial role in developing investment strategies that drove growth.
