KeyBank Partners with Zentist to Transform Dental Insurance Revenue Cycle Management

by Celia

KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY) has announced a strategic partnership with Zentist, a leading provider of cloud-based insurance revenue cycle management (RCM) software for dental support organizations (DSOs) across the United States. This collaboration includes a minority investment from KeyBank and aims to introduce Zentist’s Remit AI software to its extensive network of DSOs, enhancing their dental insurance revenue cycle management operations.

Remit AI simplifies the dental insurance claims process with features such as automated explanations of benefits (EOB) and electronic remittance advice (ERA) delivery. It also offers automated matching of remittances to bank data and intelligent task distribution within organizations. The software includes specialized workflows for predetermination, real-time claim status updates, and customizable advanced RCM analytics dashboards.

The Cavi AR module within Remit AI allows DSOs and dental practices nationwide to streamline their claims status and follow-up workflows, resulting in significant time savings. This module categorizes and ranks open claims based on accounts receivable days, expected or submitted amounts, and last updated dates.

This relationship will allow us to reach a wider audience and help dental groups optimize their revenue cycles, ultimately leading to better financial health and improved patient care.”

This collaboration with Zentist reflects KeyBank’s approach of partnering with companies whose solutions align with its broader strategy of delivering innovations that support the growth, risk management, and profitability of dental clients.

This partnership is part of KeyBank’s ongoing effort to engage with emerging fintech providers over the past decade.
