Claims Management Firm Launches Specialist Team to Address Growing Regional Needs
Sedgwick, a prominent claims management firm, has announced the formation of a dedicated team to enhance its solutions for energy and natural resources companies across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
The new team is designed to address the evolving loss adjusting and claims management requirements of both traditional and emerging energy sectors. According to a company press release, the team’s focus will span across the region’s traditional energy sources and the shift towards renewable and sustainable energy technologies. This includes thermal power, renewable power sources, hydrogen, floating solar, and wind turbines. Additionally, the team will support traditional power plants, as well as infrastructure and construction service providers within the energy sector.
Led by industry experts Nigel Cook, Neil Best, and Liew Boon Tat, the newly established team boasts a wealth of experience in handling complex claims. Their expertise encompasses a broad range of areas, including construction and operational losses, as well as renewable energy projects.
Cook highlighted the significance of this expansion, stating, “As clean energy and natural resources industries continue to grow in Asia, this is a crucial moment for us to deploy our resources effectively and foster long-term partnerships within the region.”
