FWD Hong Kong and ESDlife have introduced the MAX Health Shop, a new platform designed to provide a wide array of health and wellness options to customers, addressing the surge in health insurance claims observed in 2023.
This initiative comes in response to a notable 18% increase in health insurance claims reported by FWD Hong Kong last year, amounting to 43,802 cases. As the first insurer to partner with ESDlife, a leading health e-commerce platform in Hong Kong, FWD aims to enhance customer access to health services and products.
The MAX Health Shop will feature over 2,000 health checkup options and products from more than 100 healthcare brands. Additionally, it will connect users with a network of over 70 medical partners, offering a comprehensive selection of wellness services.
Customers can conveniently compare, select, and book these health and wellness products and services through the platform. Purchases can be made using MAX points, providing a seamless and rewarding experience. FWD Care members, who hold any FWD critical illness or medical insurance policies, will receive special offers and value-added services. These include skin care treatments, body shaping, and Chinese medicine hair care services, set to be available from late August.
By collaborating with ESDlife, FWD is taking a significant step towards meeting the evolving health and wellness needs of its customers, ensuring they have access to a broad range of quality health services and products.
