Beazley, the specialist insurer, has announced the appointment of Jessica Schappell as the new Head of Asia Pacific (APAC), effective August 1. In this role, Schappell will spearhead the company’s growth strategy in the APAC region and chair the Asia Pacific Management Committee (APMC).
Schappell will operate out of Beazley’s Singapore office and will report directly to Paul Bantick, the Global Head of Cyber Risks.

Schappell has been with Beazley since 2007, with previous positions in both New York and Singapore. Most recently, she served as Claims Manager for Specialty Risk and Cyber in APAC, where she was instrumental in developing the region’s claims capabilities.
