Insurance companies have swept the 2024 Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition “Financial Institutions” Awards, with notable performances across various categories.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition “Financial Institutions Awards” honor exceptional performance in banking, insurance, and securities, supporting the sustainable growth of Hong Kong’s financial sector.
FWD Insurance Sets New Record
FWD Insurance has set a new standard by winning 23 awards, securing its position as the most awarded insurer for the seventh consecutive year. This year, FWD achieved a significant milestone by receiving the “Insurance Company of the Year” Outstanding Award for the first time.
FWD’s accolades include 16 Excellence Awards and seven Outstanding Awards across various categories such as:

- Customer service
- Digital innovation
- Marketing
- Tied-agency
- Community care
FWD’s medical insurance and VHIS plans were honored for the seventh consecutive year. The vBooster Medical Plan and vPrime Signature Medical Plan earned the “Voluntary Health Insurance” award for the fourth year in a row. Additionally, FWD received the “Online Platform” Excellence Award and the “Digital Transformation Strategy” award for the second consecutive year.

Generali Hong Kong Earns Recognition
Generali Hong Kong also garnered significant recognition, winning the “Corporate Social Responsibility – Excellence Performance” and “Digital Marketing – Outstanding Performance” awards. These honors underscore Generali Hong Kong’s initiatives through The Human Safety Net and its strategic digital marketing efforts.
Additionally, Generali Hong Kong’s marketing and communications team received the Marketing Team of the Year – Silver Stevie Award at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, recognizing the team’s creativity and innovative strategies in marketing.
