Insurance Business (IB) has announced the recipients of the 5-Star Claims Insurers of 2024 accolade for Australia and New Zealand, recognizing their exemplary performance amidst significant challenges.
Throughout the year, insurers in these regions navigated severe weather incidents in New Zealand and evolving regulatory landscapes in Australia.
According to feedback gathered from insurance brokers, several distinguishing attributes marked this year’s top claims insurers:

To determine the leading claims insurers for 2024, IB conducted a comprehensive selection process. This involved direct input from insurance brokers across both countries. The research team meticulously surveyed numerous brokerages to ascertain the criteria deemed crucial in a claims insurer. Additionally, they conducted extensive interviews with hundreds of brokers who evaluated insurers they had collaborated with over the past year.
Based on this extensive feedback, weighted values were assigned to each criterion. Subsequently, insurers that demonstrated outstanding performance in work quality, specialized expertise, and client service were awarded the prestigious 5-Star designation.
