Allianz Commercial has announced the appointment of Vanessa Maxwell as its new Global Head of Cyber, alongside her existing role as Global Head of Financial Lines. Maxwell, who will report to Shanil Williams, Chief Underwriting Officer at Allianz Commercial, brings extensive expertise spanning more than two decades in Financial Lines and Cybersecurity.
Having joined Allianz Commercial nearly two years ago from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, where she served as Country Manager and Head of Executive and Professional Lines for the UK, Maxwell has held significant positions at prominent firms including AIG and Lexington Insurance Company. Her appointment underscores Allianz’s commitment to bolstering its cyber capabilities under her leadership.
