Broker Insights, based in Dundee and renowned for its Vision Decision Intelligence platform, has initiated changes in its top leadership to drive the company’s growth trajectory within the UK and pave the way for its expansion into the United States.
Peter Scott (pictured left), a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in steering high-growth technology enterprises, is set to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer following six months of serving as an advisor to the firm. Scott brings with him substantial international expertise, a valuable asset for the company’s global aspirations.
Meanwhile, Fraser Edmond (pictured right), the founder and current CEO of Broker Insights, will transition into the role of President. Edmond, boasting more than 25 years of industry experience, including his tenure as the former Aviva distribution director, will dedicate his efforts to leading the overseas expansion while also maintaining engagement in the UK market.
In addition to these leadership adjustments, Broker Insights is poised to appoint two commercial directors who will focus on specific customer segments.
Commenting on the changes, Edmond expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We are delighted Peter is joining us at this exciting phase in our company’s journey as we accelerate our growth and expansion. We have some amazing new products launching later this year that will reinforce our commitment to bringing data-led decision-making to the insurance industry. We are creating a global leader in the commercial insurance market and bringing to life our company’s mission to ‘empower the commercial insurance industry through data-driven decisions’.”
Earlier this month, Broker Insights introduced Propensity Lens, an AI-powered tool aimed at enhancing the sector’s capacity to forecast successful new business acquisitions.
Scott emphasized the company’s remarkable performance and progress, stating, “Broker Insights’ performance and progress to date have been exceptional. The business is well-positioned to further grow in the UK and launch in the US, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with Fraser and the executive to take Broker Insights to the next level both here in the UK and also the US.”
