Disney Promotes Edgar Llamas to Captive Insurance Risk Management Manager

Edgar Llamas has been appointed as the risk management manager for captive insurance programs at The Walt Disney Company.

Llamas, a seasoned professional in the insurance industry, previously held the position of senior risk management analyst for captive insurance programs at Disney. He has been part of Disney’s risk management team since 2015.

Before joining Disney, Llamas worked as a claims administrator at Marriott International and served as a Keep at Work coordinator at Compwest Insurance.

His career in the insurance industry began in 2008 as a claims examiner at Specialty Risk Services (SRS), a prominent player in the captives sector.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Llamas assumed his new role in April.
