Hanersun, a leading Chinese solar company, has reaffirmed its collaboration with Munich Re and WTW to bolster its array of product offerings.
As per the renewed arrangement, Munich Re will continue to furnish reinsurance services for Hanersun’s comprehensive solar product portfolio throughout the entirety of 2024. This entails extending support for Hanersun’s 15-year quality and 30-year power warranties, which safeguard against losses stemming from technical risks associated with solar modules.
The formalization of this agreement involved signatures from key representatives: Deming Liu, Manager Assistant at Hanersun; Sinney Leung, Director of PV Business Development at Munich Re; and Eileen Yang, Head of PV Business at Willis.
Leung expressed confidence in Hanersun’s manufacturing standards, emphasizing that the partnership aims to fortify consumer trust in the durability and dependability of photovoltaic (PV) products.

Yang underscored Willis’s pioneering role in supporting the solar power sector through its specialized power and new energy division.
