Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions, the U.S. insurance subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation, has introduced a new identity for its Excess and Surplus (E&S) builders risk segment, now known as Striior Insurance Solutions. This rebranding initiative, replacing the former name Highland Insurance Solutions, aims to symbolize the strong foundation, team expertise, and ambitious goals of the business.
The newly appointed President of Striior Insurance Solutions is Kaileigh Bowe, succeeding Rick Girden, who served as President for over eight years. Girden will transition into the role of Executive Consultant for the company.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Kaileigh Bowe acknowledged Rick’s leadership and expressed gratitude for his guidance, emphasizing the team’s unwavering dedication despite the change in leadership.
Bowe highlighted the significance of the brand name Striior, derived from the Latin word for “to build and construct.” She explained that the name reflects the strength of their products and services, as well as the reliability and integrity associated with the team.
Operating as a managing general agent, Striior is a subsidiary of Intact Insurance Group USA LLC (Intact). Kevin Gallagher, Senior Vice President of MGAs at Intact, commended Rick Girden for his leadership and expressed support for Striior’s rebranding.
Gallagher underscored the alignment of Striior’s customer-driven mindset and dedication to outperformance with Intact’s values, anticipating continued success for Striior under Kaileigh Bowe’s leadership.
