This is the largest amount ever paid out in Greece for forest fire claims, according to Henry Moatsos, chairman of HAIC’s Property, Reinsurance, Cargo & Hull Committee.

A further report on the damage caused by Storm Daniel in September will be finalised and published in the near future, Moatsos added.
