Prudential Services India, the global services hub launched by Prudential in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is set to expand significantly over the next three years. The expansion will see the addition of more than 400 professionals with expertise in data, artificial intelligence (AI), software development, automated testing, and cybersecurity.
The hub, one of two global services centers for Prudential, will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s operations across Asia and Africa. According to Anette Bronder, Chief Technology and Operations Officer at Prudential plc, the expansion of this hub is pivotal in the company’s efforts to digitize, simplify, and modernize its core operations. The move aims to enhance the experiences of both customers and agents.
Bronder emphasized that India’s rich talent pool and its potential for future growth made the country a natural choice for the hub’s location.
Shri Priyank Mallikarjun Kharge, Karnataka’s Minister of Electronics, Information Technology, and Biotechnology, expressed his enthusiasm for Prudential’s investment in the state. He highlighted the positive impact the expansion will have on local job creation and its contribution to Karnataka’s burgeoning technology ecosystem.
Prudential Services India will also play an instrumental role in advancing key digital initiatives such as PRUServices, a digital customer self-service platform, and PRUForce, a platform designed for digital agency management.
