HDI Global has unveiled a new service, Climate Consulting, designed to help businesses evaluate and manage the increasing risks posed by climate change.
The service offers tailored, location-specific analysis of both chronic and acute physical climate risks. It also provides actionable strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring businesses can adapt to the evolving climate landscape.
Lars Regner, Head of Resilience Services at HDI Risk Consulting, emphasized that the new offering is a response to the rising demand from clients seeking practical solutions to enhance their climate resilience.
The Climate Consulting service leverages three climate scenarios that extend up to the year 2100. It combines desktop assessments, which analyze factors such as topography, regional climate patterns, and natural hazards, with on-site inspections. These evaluations focus on the potential impacts of climate risks on infrastructure, logistics, and business operations.
After gathering and analyzing the data, HDI Global compiles the findings into a comprehensive, site-specific climate risk advisory report. This report includes tailored mitigation recommendations, helping businesses reduce their exposure to climate-related challenges.
