Sun Life has announced the appointment of Georgina Farrell as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Asia, effective May 1.
Farrell, who joins from RSA where she served as Chief People Officer for the UK, Ireland, and Europe, will be responsible for leading the company’s talent and culture strategy in the region. Her focus will be on talent development, organizational growth, and employee engagement, all aimed at supporting Sun Life’s ongoing expansion across Asia.
With more than 20 years of experience in HR leadership across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, Farrell brings a proven track record of aligning people strategies with business goals and building high-performing teams.
Based in Sun Life’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Farrell will be part of both the Asia Executive Team and the HR Executive Team. She will report directly to Helena Pagano, EVP and Chief People & Culture Officer, and Manjit Singh.
Farrell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics from University College Dublin, along with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Dublin Institute of Technology.
