The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has appointed Dang Duy Cuong as the new General Director of the Deposit Insurance of Vietnam (DIV). The announcement was made by Tran Ahn Tuan, the director general of SBV’s Human Resources Department, during a ceremony held on September 18, 2024.
Currently serving as the deputy director general of the SBV’s human resources department, Dang Duy Cuong will also join the DIV’s board of directors. Additionally, he will take on the role of deputy secretary of the DIV’s party committee and participate in the executive board and standing body for the 2020-2025 term, as stated by Chu Dinh Dong, head of the organizational board of the party committee for the Central State-owned Enterprises’ Bloc.
The DIV is dedicated to safeguarding the rights and interests of depositors across Vietnam.
