The TAS Insurance Group, headquartered in Kiev, has reported paying out UAH 465.89 million in indemnities to clients during the first quarter of 2024, marking a significant increase of 50.8% compared to the same period last year.
According to information released on the insurer’s website, a substantial portion of these payments, totaling 27.54% or UAH 128.31 million, were attributed to Comprehensive Auto Insurance (CASCO), reflecting a 33% rise from the corresponding period in 2023. Similarly, payouts for Motor Third Party Liability (MTPL) insurance amounted to 35.46% or UAH 165.21 million, representing a notable 40.1% increase year-on-year. Voluntary medical insurance saw disbursements of 18.91% or UAH 88.12 million, showing a robust growth of 62.6%.
Property insurance indemnities also surged during the reporting period, reaching UAH 2.8 million, a notable 38.3% increase from the first three months of the previous year.
Additional payments under various other insurance contracts totaled UAH 10.92 million, marking a significant 30.9% rise from the same period in 2023.
