Partners& insurance firm has announced the creation of three new senior leadership positions, signaling a strategic move towards advancing its growth agenda.
The appointments, all filled internally, underscore the organization’s robust leadership bench, cultivated since its establishment in 2020.
Ewan MacDonald assumes the role of Chief Executive – North, tasked with spearheading the insurance broking business and broader trading teams across the North and Scotland region. Concurrently, Lee Davey steps into the position of Chief Executive – South, entrusted with leading the insurance broking business and wider trading teams spanning the South & Midlands, encompassing existing regional operations in the South-East, South-West, and Midlands.
Ramzan Ghafoor takes on the mantle of Chief Operating Officer (Client Service), with a mandate to shape an unparalleled client-centric service and claims offering, fostering a service culture aimed at positioning the business as the premier advisory entity in the UK. Each of these appointments will report directly to Phil Barton, Group Chief Executive.
MacDonald, previously serving as Managing Partner for the North and Scotland regions, and Davey, formerly overseeing the South-West region, will jointly drive growth initiatives, foster collaboration, and ensure seamless advisory delivery across the organization.
MacDonald, reflecting on the appointments, remarked, “I’m delighted to collaborate with Lee and lead our teams towards unprecedented success. Our collective leadership prowess sets a solid foundation for propelling our business forward.”
Davey, one of the original founders of Partners&, emphasized the pivotal role of personnel in the company’s ethos. “People are central to Partners&’s ethos,” he stated. “Teaming up with Ewan, we are steadfast in our commitment to cultivate an environment conducive to delivering top-tier personal service and advice for our clients.”
Ghafoor, previously serving as National Client Service Partner, expressed enthusiasm for his new role in championing exemplary client service standards. “By placing client service at the core of our operations, we aim to craft a distinctive client experience,” he asserted.
Phil Barton, Group Chief Executive, lauded the appointments, underscoring the caliber of talent within the organization. “Lee, Ewan, and Ramzan possess the requisite skills, impetus, and foresight to drive our ambitious agenda forward,” Barton affirmed. “This marks an exhilarating phase for Partners& as we continue to redefine the parameters of leading insurance advisory services in today’s landscape.”
