Staffed by over 40 insurance professionals, ICIB Financial Independence offers both general and life and health risk services and advice.

Commenting on the merger, which took effect on 1 December, Ben Ruthe, managing director of ICIB Financial Independence, said: “We are delighted to be expanding in the Bay of Plenty and adding ICIB Brokerweb’s local staff and resources to our team. This is an exciting opportunity to combine our local investment with national scale, additional capacity and expertise”.

ICIB Brokerweb was created when ICIB merged with AUB Group’s BrokerWeb Risk Services a year ago. In November, ICIB Brokerweb acquired MultiSure, including the TruckSure transport insurance brand.
